I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao in Flushing, and I must say, it was an exceptional culinary experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance made me feel welcomed. The decor is modern yet subtly traditional, which perfectly complements the authentic Shanghainese cuisine they offer. Their famous Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings were everything I hoped for and more. The dumplings arrived beautifully pleated, with a thin, delicate wrapper holding the most flavorful, savory broth and tender filling. Each bite was a burst of perfection, and it's clear why this dish has become such a beloved signature item. I also tried the Pan-Fried Pork Buns, which were simply incredible. They had a wonderfully crispy golden exterior while maintaining a juicy, flavorful filling. The contrast of textures between the crispy base and the soft, pillowy top was nothing short of heavenly. This dish truly captures the essence of comforting, authentic Shanghai comfort food. The menu offers a wide variety of other dishes, and I can't wait to return and explore more of what they have to offer. The Scallion Pancake with Beef and the Braised Beef Noodle Soup have already been added to my must-try list for my next visit. What made the experience even better was the attentive and friendly service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, helpful with recommendations, and genuinely passionate about ensuring each guest had a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a longtime fan of soup dumplings or someone looking to discover authentic Shanghainese cuisine, Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao is an absolute gem. I left feeling completely satisfied and already excited to plan my next visit!

Hot spot! The ambiance is welcoming with the decor and ascent up the stairs. Lots of bamboo plants. There was was a wait to be seated as initially the plan was to order to go. I saw that tea was served as one sat to consume. The meal of shrimp rolls and crab & pork soup dumplings hit the hunger spot.

First off, this place is beautiful. A big fountain when you walk in and beautifully decorated. We came during the lunch rush and it was packed but we only waited 20 minutes for a table, which was good. We ordered a lot. Four types of soup dumplings (the pork and crab meat were my favorites), noodles (very good), rice cakes (good but could use a bit more flavor), and more. The service was fast but they allowed us plenty of time to eat, especially since we ordered so much food. I would visit again.

My friends and I ventured to Flushing for a food tour (of our creation) and decided to stop at Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings for a quick bite. This place was truly popping on a Saturday and it was easy to see why. There were lots of food options, and the interior of the restaurant is really beautiful with the outdoor/nature aesthetic. We picked up some Lucky Six colorful soup dumplings (6 count) ($14.25). As far as I remember, you can customize the 6 you choose. It was so fun to eat and review each flavor with my friends and I made a mental note to come back here for a sit down meal! (I cannot speak to the table service, but the woman at the front handling the take out orders was doing the very best she could given the crowds. She would update us periodically on the status of our order, which was greatly appreciated!)

Convenient there's couple of parking choices (municipal) . Despite it being crowded we were seated pretty quickly. Loved the food and the fast service. One thing is that they only have two stalls of bathroom so the wait was long. Love their scallion pancakes and soup dumpling.

The best comfort food on a cold winter day! 10/10 for flavor, options, and service. There are no reservations, only an online waitlist to join when you arrive. You get a number on your phone and it will update when your table is ready. When we arrived, there were TONS of people waiting in the "lobby" area. The food was incredible. Highly recommend the beef udon noodles and the scallion pancakes with beef. Both were SO tasty. Decor it's simple and the service is unmatched.

This was a nice restaurant. I went during CNY and it was a packed. However, it took only 15 minutes to get a table. I tried the soup dumplings. They were really good. Also, they offer free jasmine tea. Since they were packed, immediately after we finished they invite me very respectfully to leave lol. I am not complaining they had a huge line. Really nice place.

Returned for lunch with a friend at 11:30 AM on a Friday and there was no wait. This was my first time at the renovated location, and I'd say it holds up! I had the Lucky 6 dumplings, which were amazing. Also enjoyed the pan fried crabmeat and pork buns and cucumber salad. Service was good.

I was visiting NY to see a few friends, and my friend suggested I visit this place if I had time as they told me it was one of their favorite XLB places. Of course, I had to stop by if they highly recommended it. I stopped by on my last day in NY and only got a few things. I would also say that I love the decor, it is super nice and refreshing. I stopped by before the lunchtime rush and was seated right away. We ordered 3 different types of XLB and each was delicious. There was plenty of soup, and the wrapper was thin enough that is wasn't doughy. I am a bit disappointed that I did not stop by this place earlier on my trip, next time I'll stop by earlier.

Haven't been to this particular location since it moved from it's original location further down on Prince Street. It's been a while! Glad this place opens early as we couldn't get seats at Maxi's Noodle nearby. Hopped in and the place was packed at 11am. Thankfully there was a space for 8 and we were seated quickly. You mark your order on the menu with a pencil and the food comes out quick. Wait staff is friendly enough with a slight nudge here and there to get you out once you're done. Understandable as the restaurant is a factory. Food was good. Can't complain. Pork buns are always a winner here. The four happiness sponge tofu - awful name but delicious dish - was great. The tofu and celery is a nice, "healthier" alternative to the other dishes. You can't go wrong with their stir/pan fried noodles or noodle soups. The decor is great. Clean. Open. Spacious enough while being close to others. Good spot to dine and go if you're in a hurry. Also convenient as they open at 8am.
